April A to Z - B is for Blogs part 5 - Ashton Saylor

Hi all!

Just a quick blog post to say that fellow gamebook writer and blogger Ashton Saylor is also doing the April A to Z!

As well as writing two highly commended Windhammer gamebooks (here and here) and other gamebooks Ashton is also into game design and is currently living the dream as he is writing a novel.

I will be posting an interview with Ashton in my T post but for the time being, if you are enjoying my posts on gamebooks then you should also take a look at Ashton's blog for more on the topic and many other topics.

Happy gamebooking!

  2. Fantastic! Thanks to you, I got into gamebooks. I really like your blog, because you post such good stuff. Because of your articles, I discovered Lone Wolf and Virtual Reality. And now, you showed me 4 new blogs about gamebooks! Thanks a lot, and continue this good work!

  3. Very interesting. I need to look more into gamebooks. Your link up there was helpful, though, as I had no idea what you were talking about at first.

Aside from that, I'm your co-host for the A-to-Z! If you didn't get an email from me the other day, it may have gone in your spam box. Please feel free to contact me via my profile or reply to that email if you need anything or have any questions.

    1. Hi Shannon,

Many thanks for your message. I did get your email, many thanks for your help.

I'm glad that you thought that my primer helped - last year when I did the A to Z, most visitors said that they did not know what a gamebook was, so I prepared this year.

Hope you enjoy the rest of my posts!
