Trailblazers! now available from RPGNow

Hi all!

I've just published another Tunnels and Trolls solo - a 70 paragraph adventure called Trailblazers!  You can get it from RPGNow  for the low low price of £0.99 ($1.58)!

What happens in Trailblazers?  Here's the blurb:

Ousted from civilisation, you throw your lot in with some courageous pioneers who seek to tame nature.  However, the uncharted wilderness holds its own perils...
Trailblazers! is a solo adventure for Tunnels and Trolls.  It is for a level 1-2 character with no more than 30 adds.

For those of you who have not heard of Tunnels and Trolls, it is an RPG that has been around almost as long as Dungeons and Dragons.  However, it has a very different feel to it.  Its rules are much more simple (and they only require six sided dice) and the game does not take itself too seriously.  There will be an interview with TnT's creator Ken St Andre in my N post and to find out more, why not visit Trollhalla, a place for all things TnT or The Trollish Delver, and excellent blog that covers TnT and many other great things.

You need the TnT rules to play this solo.  You can download the 5th edition for free from here and play the game as a warrior to simplify things.

So buy Trailblazers and get into Tunnels and Trolls.

Happy gamebooking!

  2. Hello Mr Lloyd,

A quick question. Can you play all of your solitaire adventures with the 5th edition rules you posted?

  3. @Charlie Many thanks and yes, TnT does rock.

@Kay - you can play all of my solos using the 5th edition rules as long as you play as a warrior and ignore any references to spells and WIZ (wizardry score) in the solo. To make things easy, if a magic item has a WIZ cost, assume that you can use it as many times as you like.

The 5th edition book has rules for character creation, combat, an equipment list that is shorter than the 7th edition rules but still usable and saving rolls. That is enough to get you going. My solo fills you in on other things such as talents.
